作品簡介：
改編自小說《不存在的女兒》，醫師大衛與妻子諾拉的女嬰天生唐氏症，醫師將女嬰托給護士卡洛琳照顧，對妻子謊稱死胎。此後妻子若有所失的抑鬱淹沒了醫師，醫師絕望瘋狂地向護士探問女嬰的成長消息……
Inspired by Kim Edwards’s stunning novel,The Memory Keeper's Daughter. It begins on a winter night in 1964 in Lexington, Kentucky, when a blizzard forces Dr. David Henry to deliver his own twins. His son, born first, is perfectly healthy, but the other daughter has Down syndrome. Rationalizing it as a need to protect Norah, his wife, he makes a split second decision that will alter all of their lives forever. He asks his nurse, Caroline, to take the baby away to an institution and never to reveal the secret. Instead, she disappears into another city to raise the child herself….
